The coffee that begins eternal change
By Jeremiah Brinkman, pastor of Life Church in Elizabethtown, New York"Dark or medium?" It seems to be the never-ending question of our mornings here at LIFE Cafe.Coffee. It seems so simple, yet it has provided us with the access needed to break down barriers with those we serve here in our community. Sometimes, it's just a quick hello to grab some caffeine to fuel the day, but other times, we are blessed to see the way God is moving here in our community, in the hearts of those who make it a priority to share their time and their stories with us.Locals insist that we serve the best coffee in town, and those just passing through are amazed that our cafe runs on donations. People from all over the world have stopped by, and we have been able to meet people from six different continents, allowing us to gain a deeper glimpse into how God is using LIFE Cafe globally to meet needs. Those needs might be as small as a quick travel snack and as life changing as an encounter with the love and forgiveness of our Living God for the very first time. Some may say it's just sharing a cup of coffee, but we know it is so much more.Thank you, Kingdom Growers, for helping us in our mission to advance the Kingdom one cup of delicious coffee at a time.
